Nature Natural landscape
The word "nature" comes from China, and the first thing that appears is "Laozi," whose lattice is "innocent nature." Nature is a word that expresses a certain state, not a noun that indicates existence. Nature means a state in which human beings do not participate in both oneself and all things, and a state that naturally exists.
Even when the Chinese word nature entered Japan, this meaning did not change for a long time. When Western studies were accepted in the Edo period, "nature" came to be used as a translation of the English nature "nature" and the Dutch word "natuur", and it was layered on the meaning of nature up to that point in Japanese.
Nature's ancient Greek word is Physis "physis". Fushis means the general thing that naturally arises, which is the word for the nomos "nomos", which stands for norms and customs created by humans. In other words, it is a unified term for all things that were born without human intervention, and is similar to Laozi's view of nature.
It is unique in that it mixes the Western modern philosophy and natural science of "nature" as the object of spirit and perception, and the oriental and Japanese way of thinking of "nature", which naturally refers to a certain state. There may be a view of nature.
